As a healthcare provider, you encounter critical client care issues on a daily basis. You focus on providing care for these clients based on an understanding of the best known evidence combined with your considerable clinical expertise; a process also known as Evidence-Based Practice. Development of Evidence-Based Practice [EBP] requires that the professional nurse reviews resources, such as recent and past research, clinical guidelines and other related professional information sources. This must be done with a critical eye, weighing the available evidence in order to identify best practices.

The purpose of this teleseminar is to provide you with the tools needed to evaluate critical evidence and then bring that knowledge to the bedside. During this 60-minutes program, the focus will be on making sense of those research articles, so that you can assess the value of the reported findings and identify the best practices.

The next question is: Now that I know the best practices, how do I change what is happening at the bedside? That can be as simple as making personal decisions about providing care, or as complex as working to effect change within your unit or even your overall organization. Register today and learn about several basic strategies for bringing about change!
